Abstract | For about fifteen years some twenty local radio stations, authorised to broadcast from French schools have been showing the usefulness in helping the child to learn his mother tongue, but also to make the school part of the socio-economic fabric, and improving communication between varios educational bodies. ANAREMS, "Association Nationale des Ateliers Radio et Radios en Milieu Scolaire" was established in 1985 from a meeting of early pioneers. Today the association is attempting to coordinate various projects which exist in France. [...] A group of pupils and teachers from the EUROCOLLEGE in Maastricht will have the opportunity to prepare broadcasts together with French school radios on Réunion Island, and in Franche-Comté in Villers-le-lac. [...] It will no doubt continue in the twinning of the Maastricht Eurocollege and the Collège de Villers-le- lac, full justification of the objectives of Eurorégionales, namely the development of educational networks. An opportunity, also, to participate in the training of the European citizens which pupils will become in the future. (DIPF/taken from the summary). |
