Abstract	Since the IFSE College of Nursing Studies and Auxiliary Nurses was opened in 1975, the staff has been working towards developing exchanges and partnership with European countries. The official reform in 1992 aimed at creating a new approach to the nursing profession. The optional modules are to be seen as special experience. They enable the concerned to officially set up a truly European teaching programme. Within their framework the aim is to help know each other better, to exchange cultures, to help to faster outward-looking attitudes and sensitivity to the others and to foster mobility. The IFSI College is also oriented towards health- professionals in Eastern Europe and Africa. (DIPF/taken from the summary).
