Abstract | See title! The first instrument, completed by 74 pupils from three year levels, comprised a series of specific statements. The second, completed by 12 pupils from one year level, consisted of four open-ended questions. A majority of pupils were found to have a clear understanding of the purpose and nature of teaching practice, and particular role expectations for various personnel involved in it.
