Abstract	Band 2 - 3 der Reihe "Rassegna Italiana di Linguistica Applicata" enthaelt vor allem in ueberarbeiteter Form die Mehrzahl der Beitraege des Symposiums zur Psycholinguistik, das im August 1984 im Rahmen des AILA (Association Internationale de Linguistique Appliquée)- Kongresses in Bruessel stattfand. Er ist in zwei grosse Abschnitte gegliedert, die "Applied psycholinguistics: Theoretical and methodological problems, and general perspectives in some fields" sowie "Research trends in applied psycholinguistics today" ueberschrieben sind. Im ersten Teil sind neben der Herausgeberin Tatiana Slama Cazacu, die einleitend auf den Seiten 9 - 18 zum "Warum" und "Wie" der Angewandten Psycholinguistik Stellung bezieht, folgende Autoren vertreten: Leonor Scliar-Cabral ("Mother tongue education at schools in the third world: problems discussed through an experiment among pre-elementary children in Brazil", S. 31 - 40), Hans W. Dechert ("Second language acquisition in light of the production paradigm", S. 41 - 58), Katherine G. In der Rubrik "Rassegne" legt Salvatore Scollo die Charakteristika von Aphasien bei Personen dar, die eine der Fernost- Sprachen sprechen ("Charatteristiche dei disturbi afasici in soggetti parlanti lingue dell'Estremo Oriente", S. 267 - 284), Maria Ricciarda Cavosi untersucht die Interferenz bei der Uebersetzung ("L'interferenza nella traduzione", S. 285 - 296), waehrend der auf den Seiten 297 - 302 abgedruckte Beitrag von C. Gentili mit "Sintesi in glottodidattica" betitelt ist.
