Abstract	"From secondary-level vocational qualifications (CAP) to the elite engineering schools, the construction and civil engineering (CCE) sector offers a range of different training pathways for young people wishing to qualify in one of the sector's occupations. While it attracts large number of apprentices, it does not manage to retain enough of them throughout the apprenticeship period or to settle them in stable employment. Will the evolution of CCE occupations linked to the environmental and digital transitions be an opportunity to make the sector attractive again to young people? A study conducted by Céreq among professionals in the sector provides some preliminary answers." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku).
