| Abstract | The notion of "banking education" as graphic as today, alerts us to the consequences of the transmission of content that seeks, as a sole objective, to fill empty glasses knowledge (Freire 2008). Since its emergence in the educational and political scene, popular education has promoted a profound and radical pedagogical debate, as a way of understanding, transforming, the way in which we are educated. For the popular education, nobody educates to anybody, the men educate each other, in communion and with the mediation of the world. So the construction of a shared vision of the world is the first step in the process of transformation that is only achieved in concrete practice. La noción de "educación bancaria" tan gráfica como actual, nos alerta sobre las consecuencias de la transmisión de contenidos que buscan, como único objetivo, llenar de conocimiento vasos vacíos (Freire 2008). Desde su irrupción en la escena educativa y política, la educación popular promovió un debate pedagógico profundo y radical, como forma de comprender, para transformar, la forma en la que (nos)educamos. Para la educación popular, nadie educa a nadie, los hombres se educan entre sí, en comunión y con la mediación del mundo. Por lo que la construcción de una visión compartida del mundo es el primer paso en el proceso de transformación que solo se logra en la práctica concreta. |
