| Abstract | The complex education of physical education teachers begun in the Czech hands at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s. At the beginning it involved elementary school teachers only. Later on of secondary school teachers of physical education were included. Elementary school teachers were taught at secondary school level for decades. However the education of secondary school teachers has gradually reached a higher level. Moreover it has reached university level. There was an attempt to connect this discrepancy only after 1945, however the actual method of training of physical education teachers has been shaky and inconsistent from both in content and in on institutional level. This communication seeks to clarify the complicated development of the method of physical education teachers from World War 2 up to date. The second part includes a brief overview oft he development and current state of all workplaces in the Czech Republic were physical education graduates and other university-educated sports experts in the Czech Republic are developed. (Autor). Pocátky problematiky vzdelávání ucitelu telesné výchovy spadají v ceských zemích do prelomu 60. a 70. let 19. století. Zprvu se jednalo hlavne o ucitele základních skol a teprve následne pribylo i vzdelávání strcdoskolských ucitelu telesné výchovy. Zatímco ucitelé základních skol byli po dlouhá desetiletí vzdelávání stredoskolským zpusobem na ucitelských ústavách, tak vzdelávání stredoskolských ucitelu se postupne dostalo na kvalitativne daleko vyssí a hlavne univerzitní úroven. K pokusu o srovnání této disproporci doslo az po roce 1945, ale i následne se systém vzdelávání ucitelu telesné výchovy vyvýel znacne klopotne a dlouho nemel ustálenou podobu, a to jak obsahove tak institucionální. Toto sdelení se snazí priblízit komplikovaný vývoj soustavy vzdelávání ucitelu telesné výchovy od 11. svetové války do soucasnosti. Ve své druhé cásti prinásí strucný prehled vývoje a soucasného stavu vsech pracovist', která v Ceské republice pripravují aprobované telocvikáre a dalsí vysokoskolsky vzdelané telovýchovné odborníky.
