Abstract | The present article analyzes with the use of monitoring technologies the physical development and physical fitness of women from different age groups (from 4 to 21 years) living in the East Siberian region. A total of 7357 people: 695 preschoolers, 835 schoolgirls (girls and women) and 5827 female students were examined. There were designed regional standards of their physical development (height, weight, chest circumference and right and left hand muscles dynamometry) and physical fitness (standing long jump, 30 second sit-ups, straight leg stretch exercise). The general regularities and specific (phased) age-related changes, similar morphometric physiometric characteristics of physical development and motor quality test results were allocated. Timely research, that compensates for the lack of information on the characteristics of the physical health of children, adolescents and students in preschool institutions, schools and universities, will not only determine the level of their physical and functional fitness, but will also ensure the improvement of the physical education learning process of such a contingent of the population in various educational institutions.
