Abstract | The direct aim of the case studies is to gain in-depth insight into the various ways in which countries and other actors strive for the strategic goals of the Bologna Process and how these are related to each other, to environmental factors outside the Bologna Process strictu sensu, and to achievements towards the operational or intermediate goals of the Bologna Process. The purpose of the case studies is to provide other actors with lessons learnt that may help them in emulating successful polices-or avoiding problematic ones, in case of negative lessons-in their implementation of the Bologna Process.
