Abstract	Ausgehend von Diskursen zu ästhetischer Bildung, Praxis und Erfahrung stellt der vorliegende Beitrag das Theater der Unterdrückten (TdU) als Ansatz politisch-partizipativer Theaterarbeit vor. Politisch-partizipative Theaterarbeit führt über ästhetische Bildung zu politischer Bildung und Beteiligung und kann als Modell für eine zeitgemäße, politische Bildungsarbeit verstanden werden - gerade auch außerhalb institutioneller Einschränkungen und Notwendigkeiten. Und: Politisch-partizipative Theaterarbeit eröffnet kreative Räume für gesellschaftspolitische Grundfragen und Alternativen. Beispiel hierfür ist die Theater- und Kulturinitiative InterACT, die seit vielen Jahren Theaterarbeit mit politischer Bildung und Beteiligung verknüpft. (DIPF/Orig.). Based on discourses of aesthetic education, practice and experience, this article presents the theatre of the oppressed (TdU) as an approach to political and participative theatre. Political and participative theatre encompasses aesthetic education and political education and participation and can be understood to be a model of contemporary, political education - especially outside the confines of institutional limitations and requirements. And: political and participative theatre work opens up a creative space for fundamental sociopolitical questions and alternatives. One example of this is the theatre and cultural initiative InterACT, which has combined theatre work with political education for many years. (DIPF/Orig.).
