Abstract | To measure perspective taking in adults without using data from self-reports, we developed three computer-based item subscales representing the three facets (with 16-18 items each), using the mouse as input device. By this means, accuracy as well as response times could be gained. As an alternative to accuracy information, response time measures here can provide useful information about how adults differ in their perspective taking skills. Furthermore, this kind of data source should be a better predictor for writing performance than data from self-reports. (DIPF/Author). |
