(Autorenreferat; BIBB-Doku). "A central task of teacher training in vocational didactics is to enable teacher training students to relate specialized content knowledge with pedagogical content knowledge so that they anticipate possible steps of reasoning as well as common learner conceptions and misconceptions. Thus they are supposed to design lessons such that learners are cognitively activated in the process of learning the content of vocational work. This requires teacher training students to recognize organizing structures of the content related to vocational tasks and to reflect on them in terms of concepts of vocational didactics. These organizing structures of the content can generally be accessed via textbook texts. The question arises which criteria specialized texts have to fulfil for purposes of teaching specialized contents in vocational training contexts. Therefore specialized textbook texts on chromatography, a highly complex and vocationally relevant topic, are analysed. For the analysis, a system of categories consisting of propositions based on the organizing structures of the specialized content has been designed. The results show that in the texts the lines of argumentation are incomplete. This methodological approach is likely to be applicable for optimizing specialized texts and analysing specialized elements of higher education studies." (authors' abstract; BIBB-Doku). |
