Abstract | This article describes the Asian Indian population and how the myth of the model minority can influence students' access to support services. It is important for school counselors to understand how this minority group experience stressors related to academics, career decision making, and personal/social development. Effective interventions and strategies for working with Asian Indian students and their families are discussed. (As Provided). |
