Abstract | Largely due to human contributions, global climate degradation continues to rise. To delve into possible solutions for this issue, the relationship between wildlife conservation behaviors of high school graduates and high school environmental studies is examined. Participants engaged in an online survey, in which they indicate wildlife preservation behaviors they perform, if they discussed those behaviors as part of their high school environmental education curriculum, and outside influences on their conservation behaviors. Although, the results of this study show that there may not be a strong Pearson's Product Moment Correlation between wildlife conservation behaviors and high school environmental education classes- this may be due to the limited sample size and clarity of survey questions. Greater understanding could be gained from further research in this area. [The dissertation citations contained here are published with the permission of ProQuest LLC.
