Abstract | This document presents statistical data in summary form on the certificates awarded by institutions of higher education in Oregon. These data were obtained from a completions survey, part of the national Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). Summary tables are arranged by institution and by program area, followed by tables showing racial/ethnic background in similar formats. Detailed tables are organized into certificates awarded by each institution in segment groupings (state system, community colleges, and independent) and certificates awarded by each major program area. These program areas are: agricultural business and production, conservation and renewable natural resources, architecture, ethnic and cultural studies, marketing, communications, computer science, personal services, education, engineering, home economics, law, liberal arts, mathematics, interdisciplinary studies, theology and religion, protective services, social sciences and history, construction trades, mechanics, precision production, transportation, visual and performing arts, health professions, and business management. This report summarizes certificates awarded for less than 1 year, 1 to 2 years, 3 to 4 years, post-baccalaureate and post-Master's at the degree granting public and non-public two- and four-year colleges and universities.
