AbstractThis five-part annual report provides information on the Arizona State Board of Directors for Community Colleges; the state's community college districts; college finances and enrollments; and vocational education. Section I presents the Board's statement of philosophy, delineates general and certification fund expenditures, and indicates the number of teaching certificates issued. Section II contains a directory of Arizona's community colleges, campuses, and skill centers and provides information on certified and non-teaching personnel. Section III presents financial data, including information on revenues and expenditures; general and plant fund income; assessed valuation data and college tax rates; general fund current operating expenditures by functional and object classifications; analysis of student aid income; cost and income factors; short-term, open-entry/open-exit and vocational full-time student equivalents; a history of state aid to community colleges; and a summary of plant investment and debt retirement. Section IV provides enrollment data, displaying age, ethnicity, residency, and gender characteristics of full- and part-time students. In addition, this section provides statistics on types of students, degrees and certificates awarded, credit hours enrolled, off-campus programs, and non-credit programs.
