Abstract | This book is designed for the slow learner and the dropout. It is written at the sixth grade level and is generously illustrated. The specific purpose of the book is to help the potential dropout and those who have already dropped out and returned to special training by indicating the importance of a positive attitude, and how to build one. It is divided into three parts. The first part deals with the personality of the participants and how to build a positive attitude. The second part discusses the world of work and the jobs that the participants might prepare for. The last part shows them how to keep their first job and how to move up to a better one. A teacher's guide is included. (PT) |
