Abstract | The Ontario Ministry of Education (Canada) included bias awareness as a priority in the revised Ontario Health and Physical Education (H&PE) curricula. Bias awareness within a 320-page document that now guides Ontario (Canada) schools and classrooms is omnipresent. The curriculum guide defines, informs, and lays out possible pathways for bias examination within education landscapes. This focus on bias is intended to educate, inform, and illuminate bias in schools and society while moving people forward to enable discussion. Bias (gender, racial, sexual orientation, and bias against those with physical challenges) can be found on all playing fields, classrooms, and gymnasiums within Ontario elementary and secondary school properties therefore it is an important topic to explore formally and informally in schools via both formal and informal opportunities.
