Abstract | [The programme] Grundtvig supports initiatives designed to promote European cooperation in adult education among both teachers and learners, by involving them in joint projects, partnerships and networks with their counterparts in other European countries. ... The present document focuses on themes and issues addressed by the projects and networks supported under the centralised actions of the programme, managed directly by the [European] Commission. It thereby complements the Compendia of learning partnerships, managed on a decentralised basis via the national agencies in each of the 31 countries currently participating in Grundtvig [Action to encourage Lifelong Learning].
