Abstract | Institutions of higher education are under pressure to be accountable for their expenditures while demonstrating their effectiveness. Through structural equation modeling, a relationship was found between expenditures and the efficiency and effectiveness of an institution, and an optimal expenditure level was found that maximized an institution's effectiveness without overspending. (Contains 4 tables and 6 figures.) (As Provided). |
