| Abstract | Derived from a larger research project on female faculty in the United States, this paper reports findings focused on a sub-group of participants, international scholars who work in U.S. colleges and universities. Based on in-depth interviews, some of the obstacles they face are portrayed in order to enhance the understanding of an understudied population and find ways to address their specific challenges.
