Abstract | Postsecondary business students, classified as failed or nonfailed after 12 months, were studied. Age, race, and gender were not significantly associated with academic performance. However, selected interest factors, measured by CPP (Career Placement Program), and ability factors, measured by CPP and ACT (American College Testing Program), were significantly associated with academic performance.
