AbstractThe purpose of this research is to examine whether the use of Plickers in English language teaching has any effects on students' motivation, anxiety and academic achievement. In this context, this study was held with 61 students studying in the ninth grade of a high school that is located in a rural region in the east part of Turkey. In this research, the effects of Plickers tool on students' vocabulary learning motivation, anxiety and academic achievement within the scope of English lessons were discussed. The result of the analysis showed that the motivation and academic achievement of the study group increased significantly compared to the control group. A significant increase was seen in the control group students while a significant decrease was found in the experimental group students in terms of the anxiety variable. (As Provided).
