This chapter of the guide provides advice on site selection covering selection criteria; traffic issues; and site services, such as water, power, and sewer. Additionally discussed are tips on state government planning proposals; environmental considerations, such as flooding control, landscaping, site drainage and erosion control; safety; public and private transport needs; recreational facilities; and other site facilities and services, such as roads and paths, sewage disposal, and communication systems for support staff.
