Abstract | This document includes a package of behavioral objectives for use in an introductory human relations course. Nine learning modules are described, each containing objectives in the cognitive area and in the skills and applications areas. The modules cover the following affective behavior topics: (1) communication and listening skills; (2) self perception; (3) perception of others, and language skills, and symbols; (4) non-verbal communication and problem solving; (5) communication flow and networks; (6) leadership styles; (7) observation skills, group processes and member roles; (8) decision making; and (9) problem solving and conflict resolution.
