Abstract | Presented are the proceedings of hearings before the Subcommittee on Public Assistance and Unemployment Compensation of the Committee on Ways and Means, United States House of Representatives, concerning legislative proposals amending Title XX social services programs, AFDC foster care and child welfare service programs. Testimony is included from a wide variety of witnesses on proposed Title XX changes which would affect the total amount of money allotted for Title XX in 1980 and the specific conditions under which certain Title XX allotments would be made. The texts of ten prepared statements are also included. (JMB) |
