Abstract | Providing information for simulation activity, the materials in this document are intended to help train administrators in the utilization of a set of reporting/planning forms developed as a statewide model for local school district use in vocational education planning and development in Ohio. The information is presented in two parts: state information and information concerning school district "B", a hypothetical set of data based on a contract district (a district that allows any number of school districts to contract for vocational education with a sponsoring school district which is responsible for providing an adequate program of vocational education). The state information section provides data concerning vocational education standards, costs per pupil in average daily membership, equipment and equipment depreciation costs, space requirements, and environmental assumptions. School district "B" information section provides hypothetical data, e.g., high school and adult vocational enrollments; costs per pupil in average daily membership; labor demand related to vocational education programs; school district population; percentage of graduates actually entering baccalaureate or associate degree programs; vocational choice inventory; and follow-up of students. (Simulated sets of data based on an individual school district and a joint vocational school district are included in two companion documents, CE 014 094 and CE 014 096. Copies of the forms are in the report of the model plan's development (CE 013 048), and detailed instructions for their use are in CE 014 093.) (BM) |
