Abstract | These materials, used in a self-paced course in engineering descriptive geometry for freshman and sophomore college-level students, cover three modules: basic spatial relationships; intersections, parallelism, and perpendicularity; and graphic analysis and development. Each module contains five instructional units. Each unit includes a rationale, a set of performance objectives, the evaluation criteria, and a list of assignments to be completed. The learning activities specified for each unit include viewing a slide-tape program, completing reading assignments in the text and in supplementary publications, and solving problem sets. A short introduction to each module gives an overview of topics being covered, specified the text being used, and describes the general evaluation procedures for the module. (DT) |
