Abstract | The statistical tables presented here summarize selected portions of the information supplied to the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission through the EEO-1 reporting system, using Standard Form 100, a copy of which is appended. The coverage and limitations of the survey are described, together with a list of industries and a list of standard metropolitan statistical areas. The first table shows minority group employment by occupation, sex, and state, together with national totals, the second by industry, occupations, and sex for selected states, and the third by occupation and sex for selected industries and standard metropolitan areas. In all tables the occupations are broken down into total employment, white collar occupations (five categories plus total white collar employment), blue collar occupations (three categories plus total blue collar employment), and service workers. Occupational distributions and participation rates are also shown on all tables. (SA) |
