Abstract	A study was conducted to ascertain the level of sophistication of the educational media programs in the unified public school districts of Kansas. It was hoped that the resulting data would enable public school administrators to accurately evaluate their programs and to improve the total educational media program in their systems. Using the survey method and appraisal techniques, the investigators polled 311 districts. Fulton's Evaluative Checklist in revised form was the only instrument used to collect the data. The investigators concluded that many of the districts did not have adequate budget provisions for educational media and that there was not a wide variety of instructional materials being used. (MC)
