Abstract | Futsal is getting more popular both in the world and in our country. From year to year our team wins prizes in world and European championships. Women's Championship is held in 2010 and so far is unofficial, but is getting more important. In December 2013 our team was a bronze-winner. Development of women's football in general and futsal in particular is a promising direction, which is defined as one of the leading at the top European level. However, the popularity of this sport in our country is much inferior to that in the European countries. The relevance of training and development of players' potential, definition of the aspect to underlie the organization of not only technical and tactical, but also psychological training are the priority directions. Identifying the features of working with a team, given the specificity of sport, creating a differentiated approach to players for the maximum revelation of their potential and improvement of competitiveness of team in general are important tasks for both a trainer and a psychologist. Playing roles most often underlie the differentiation of players in a team. The purpose of the present study was to identify differences or similarities of psychomotor and personality characteristics of female athletes playing futsal. The detected differences between the roles help a trainer and a psychologist to apply the differentiated approach to the organization of the training process. Interchangeability in this sport is very important, therefore, a certain universality of a player largely contributes to his performance. When working with a team a trainer and a psychologist need to pay attention to the team work of players forming their mutual understanding and "feeling of player". Persuasive care of backs, tough regulation of activity, directive methods are not recommended for increasing the stress response and accurate reaction. Psychological training of forwards should by all means include increase of self-control, mental training and psychomuscle training. It is important for them to trust their trainer and players.
