Abstract | An important debate in educational research on effective learning is the question whether errors should be corrected immediately. Although it is quite plausible that we need feedback about our mistakes in the learning process, it is also conceivable that emotional consequences of feedback might interfere with future learning. [The authors present results of a study that] investigates the effects of immediate error feedback on subsequent learning in children. (DIPF/Orig.). |
