Abstract | Recent research indicates that a record number of women today are shunning MBA programs and are looking for careers outside of the corporate business world. In this article, the author presents the findings of recent studies on this trend and examines how higher education can tap into the ever-expanding talent pool of highly qualified candidates in information technology, human resources, finance and other fields.
