Abstract	The purpose of this article is to gain practical knowledge about a population of students that is vital and necessary to any university community. The history of transfer students lends itself to the assumption that there is no targeted marketing, specific recruitment materials, equity in events or outreach activities, or equal data gathered in relationship to students who do not finish their academic career at one institution, but choose to transfer to a different institution. The anticipated results are to make suggestions for improvement of current procedures along with new innovations to be used to recruit and retain transfer students. (Author).
