Abstract | Recent attempts to turn British higher education into a market by manipulating funding methodologies are examined, and it is concluded that current government interventionism is at variance with the official policy of encouraging competition and free market forces. It is argued that the government must modernize its ideology and plan more efficiently. (Author/MSE) |
