Abstract | This document records testimony from a hearing held to examine ways to expand educational opportunity through school choice. Member statements were presented by: (1) Honorable John Kline, Chairman, Committee on Education and the Workforce, U.S. House of Representatives; and (2) Honorable Robert C. Scott, Ranking Member, Committee on Education and the Workforce, U.S. House of Representatives. Witness statements were presented by: (1) Honorable Rob Bryan, a Representative in Congress from the state of North Carolina; (2) Mr. Luis A. Huerta, Professor of Education and Public Policy, Teachers College, Columbia University; (3) Ms. Denisha Merriweather, Student, University of South Florida; and (4) Mr. Gerald Robinson, Resident Fellow, American Enterprise Institute.
