Abstract | This collection includes eight reports of findings from a series of employer surveys designed to assess the effectiveness of the Targeted Jobs Tax Credit (TJTC). The following papers are included: "Introduction," by John Bishop; "Utilization of the Targeted Jobs Tax Credit," by John Bishop and Susan Ashbrook; "Multivariate Models of Employer Participation in TJTC and Its Effects upon Hiring Policies," by John Bishop and Kevin Hollenbeck; "Does Advertising One's Eligibility for TJTC Help One Get a Job?" by John Bishop and Kevin Hollenbeck; "How Do Employers Find TJTC Eligibles?" by John Bishop; "Impact of TJTC on Employment at Subsidized Firms," by John Bishop; "How Should Government Promote TJTC?" by John Bishop; and "Summary and Policy Implications," by John Bishop.
