| Abstract | Sex education is a crucial part of the school curriculum, and the first responsibility of the school in this area is to train and employ teachers who know their task and accept it with grace. The second responsibility is to recognize the community, its class stratification and ethnic structure so the program will reflect the cultural values of the community. The third responsibility is "to get started." Included in this pamphlet is a chapter on practical suggestions for initiating or improving sex education programs. (Author/HMV) |
