Abstract | The paper presents a workshop concept in which students articulate their contemplations about the Shoah through the creation of an artwork - based on the analysis of historical, philosophical as wellas literary sources. This interdisciplinary approachshall highlight one possible way of how students may be enabled to establish a link between the Shoah, their personal lives as well as contemporary challenges concerning the values in a globalised society and all forms of discrimination. The concept is exemplified by workshops realized, amongothers, at the French memorial site Maison d'Izieu. |
