Abstract | The report follows two main aims. First, to identify and analyse both direct and indirect consequences of the accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union. Second, to reflect the future of Czech education in this context. The report is divided into four parts of different characters. Each part concludes with proposals and recommendations. 'Educational policy of the European Union' (part A) summarises the principles, recommendations and programmes of the European Union, and their consequences. 'Education in a changing society' (part B) defines main trends and problems of the development of society and education in the countries of the European Union and the Czech Republic. 'Problems and priorities' (part C) follows systematic changes in main areas of education and conditions required for the transformation of the education system. 'Vision and strategy' (Part D) summarises main trends of the developments proposed. (DIPF/orig.). |
