Abstract	The report summarizes results of an evaluation of "The Cutting Edge," a workplace education program operated by El Paso Community College (Texas) with funding from the National Workplace Literacy Program. The project had tow main goals: to field test and refine curricula at a number of workplace sites, and to prepare products and services and mechanisms for disseminating them. Achievements included: field testing that reached 72 percent of learners called for, despite several unforeseen obstacles, and preparation and dissemination of 144 hours of basic skills learning modules, 144 hours of communication modules, 15 hours of math modules, and 6 teacher training videotapes. The report also describes key program components, including curricula, mechanisms to facilitate communication with partners, coordination of program components, assessment mechanisms that emphasize dialogue between partners, staff development practices, and dissemination efforts.
