As such, the author centers teacher relationships as the foundation of teacher morale and that, regardless of change in the school, strong relationships can strengthen morale. The author breaks teacher relationships down into five simple categories - relationships with the self, with colleagues, with students, with administrators, and with the community - and examines each in detail. The book examines, in detail, the ways in which these relationships operate and examines how these relationships either harm or help an educator. However, this book does not stop at the theoretical, but also offers numerous strategies that educators can utilize to build healthy relationships. Educators will learn strategies that are all made specifically to buoy and build teacher relationships within each category.
