Abstract | Transitioning from middle school to high school is a tremendous change for all students; it is especially important for learners on the Autism Spectrum. In this article, the authors discuss the move to high school and give seven tips for successfully navigating these years. We draw upon the experiences of Mrs. Sandi Glover and her 21-year-old son Curtis, who is diagnosed with High Functioning Autism; Curtis speaks of himself as "differently-abled." (As Provided). |
