Abstract | In 1999 the National Committee for Creativity and Culture in Education (NACCCE) produced a report called "All our futures." In many respects it was and still is a seminal report; it raises issues about creativity in education and offers serious messages for Government, schools and the inspection process. The author's research into teacher perceptions of creativity challenges the assumption that teachers understand creativity and have an established framework for developing creativity, and in doing so raises a number of issues for teaching and learning in general and in science specifically. In this article, the author reports her research findings. (Contains 2 tables.) (ERIC). |
