Abstract | The purpose of this study was to identify industries that hire persons with disabilities and criminal backgrounds. The researcher obtained data on 1,355 applicants for vocational rehabilitation services who were living in adult correctional facilities at the time of application. Service-based industries hired the most ex-inmates with disabilities (n = 424, 31.3%), followed by the structural work industry (n = 319, 23.5%) and miscellaneous occupations (n = 209, 15.4%).
