| Abstract | In this article, the author discusses his researched framework that has been used in government organizations, the military (including international militaries), large corporations around the globe, and educational institutions such as the Sonora Institute for Technology in Sonora, Mexico. This framework is termed an "Ideal Vision" that expresses societal value added in terms of related variables. The elements of this suggested Ideal Vision are presented in this article to furnish a useful definition of "ethics." By applying the framework of an Ideal Vision (Mega) to the definition of "ethics," people may begin a dialogue with scholars and practitioners concerning what is ethics and how they might define it and evaluate what progress they are making. The rigorous definition for ethics will help obtain commitment to moving ever closer to it. (Contains 1 table.) (ERIC). |
