Abstract | In this article, the author discusses activities that researchers and educators can use to determine faculty qualifications and faculty sufficiency for accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International. The author collected data on the relative importance of various activities by using a survey of business-school deans. The deans from more research-oriented schools agreed with deans from less research-oriented schools on the relative importance of most activities. Educators can use the relative values to guide business schools in the development of their own methods of determining faculty qualifications and faculty sufficiency. (Contains 4 tables.) (Author). |
