Abstract | Describes a teaching model used to train students in different methods of substance abuse treatment. Addiction Studies students and graduate social work students received treatment manuals that were used in Project MATCH study, three methods of treatment were used. Students reported surprise at the level of sophistication in substance abuse treatment, and recognition of the connection between research and practice. (Contains 28 references.) (GCP) |
