Abstract | The present study seeks to examine the dynamics of Catholic priests' pastoral counseling. The main findings indicated that single sessions with a problem solving approach were the usual option. The lack of awareness of counseling skills, techniques, and models of helping, and the need to establish boundaries indicated an absence of any significant theoretical understanding of pastoral counseling.
