Abstract | A survey of secondary-school professional-development coordinators within one British local education authority was conducted to ascertain whether their professional-development priorities reflected their changing role. Results indicate a growing acceptance of middle-management responsibility for departmental performance measured by SAT results and external examinations. (Contains 23 references.) (MLH) |
